Rancho Viejo Films' founder Alex Verlage is a Mexican-American editor, director, writer and film-maker whose vision is to create engaging content that Americans and Mexicans can both enjoy and identify with. Alex Verlage was raised by an American mother and a Mexican father in Gonzalez, Tamaulipas and Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico until he was 18 years old. Having grown up bilingual and bicultural Alex found his passion for Westerns consuming classic American westerns and classic Mexican westerns alike. He strives to combine elements from both into a new 'Burrito' western that will entertain everyone.
